Border Collie Rescue (BCR) is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 by a group of dedicated individuals who share a deep love and respect for the Border Collie breed. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Border Collies in need, ensuring they find the loving, permanent homes they deserve.

Our Mission

At Border Collie Rescue, we are committed to the welfare of Border Collies across South Africa. We believe that every Border Collie, regardless of its background, deserves a second chance at a happy and fulfilling life. Our efforts focus on rescuing Border Collies from shelters, unsafe environments, or situations where their owners can no longer care for them. We work tirelessly to match each dog with a family that understands the unique needs of this intelligent and active breed.

Since our inception in 1997, Border Collie Rescue has grown into a trusted and respected organization within the animal rescue community.
