Buddy is a spirited and lively young dog, just over a year old, who is looking for a special home that understands his unique needs. This busy boy is full of energy and loves nothing more than running like the wind when given the freedom to be off-leash. His speed and enthusiasm are a joy to watch, and he thrives in environments where he can burn off his youthful energy.

Buddy is deaf, which means he experiences the world a little differently from other dogs. Because of this, he needs a dog-savvy home with people who are aware of the considerations that come with having a deaf dog. He doesn’t enjoy being surprised, so it’s important to approach him in a way that doesn’t startle him. Gaining Buddy’s attention requires a bit more effort, but once you have it, you’ll find a loyal and loving companion.

Buddy gets along well with children and female dogs of his own size or smaller. He’s a social boy who enjoys playing and interacting with those he feels comfortable with. However, Buddy can sometimes feel intimidated by certain men, so a gentle and understanding approach is crucial to helping him feel secure.
